Rhea Chakraborty had given Cannabidiol oil to the actor, Narcotics Control Bureau is expected to file a case against the actress soon

It will always be remembered as a black day in the lives of family, friends and fans of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. 14th June 2020 the actor was found dead at his Bandra flat.

While the case is under investigation, recent developments reveal that the actor was being administered drugs by his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty. According to a Times Now report, Rhea had given Cannabidiol oil (CBD) to the actor and the Narcotics Control Bureau is expected to file a case against the actress soon. On the other hand Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend Ankit Acharya told Times Now that he never saw the late actor taking drugs. “I have never seen Sushant taking drugs when I was with him. He was very much concerned about his health.”

Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer, senior advocate Vikas Singh, reacted to the drugs angle and exclusively told ETimes, “We had said in the FIR that Sushant was being over drugged but what we meant then was prescription drug. If you have a mental issue and you are prescribed drugs and are given an overdose of that, we thought that was happening because we were all kept in the dark. We didn’t know what all was being said to him but now this looks like hard drugs. This is actually the drug in the normal sense that we understand. This has got the narcotics angle as well, definitely proves abetment to suicide more convincingly; it is definitely a step in that direction to prove abetment to suicide or even murder.”
